I always like to post some of my favorite images from our work in Hitched Studios. Hitched is where my best friend, Ben, and I work hard to make couples in love very happy.
Shannah and Joe are getting hitched in July and we shot their engagement shoot last weekend. They love this old stone church in West Boylston, MA. We can’t blame ’em.
I wish my fat rolls were adorable.
This is Silas at 9 months.
How much do you want to put Silas in a toaster, smother him with butter, and eat him? Julia, Andy, and Silas were gracious hosts last weekend…and were even willing to bring Little One out in the crisp January air so that we could get some cute shots with his hat on.
Thanks so much, guys. 2009 is your year. Promise.
SOME one has a new man!!! Here are some of my favorite shots from A’s shoot last week. She wanted something sexy and suggestive, but classy and fun for a Valentine’s Day gift for her man. We had a blast, as usual. Check it.
My wonderful friends, Paige and Marlo, were married at sunset on December 30th in Aitutaki in the Cook Islands. It was as perfect a day as you can imagine: fabulous people, a gorgeous sunset, a couple deeply in love. I was, and still am, totally honored to have been a part of such magic. Here are a couple of my favorite shots. Enjoy.
Tough gig, but someone has to go to the lagoon island of Aitutaki in the Cook Islands (where!?!?) to photograph a gorgeous and loving wedding.
The Cook Islands are over there between Tahiti and New Zealand, 9.5 hours from Los Angeles, give or take. It is truly paradise, as cliche as that may sound. Warm, white sand, bending coconut trees to shade the beach, bath water temperatures in aqua blue lagoon waters. Surely one of the most gorgeous places I’ve ever seen.
I’m going to post just a couple of scene setting photos right now. I really want Paige and Marlo to see the photos before I post them.
So, until next week…..
Full-grown muffins. That’s what they are. As you know I love photographing kids in their rooms; I think it’s a beautiful time and place in life to hold still with a photograph. I was thrilled when The Barth boys each let me into their rooms to show me a little bit of what makes them who they are. Here are a few of my favorites.
