I’m writing this email as I prepare for my second shoot with Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance.
Last year I went out to photograph in several neighborhoods across Boston and Cambridge with an incredibly kind and smart doctor who is committed to bringing quality health care to people without homes. MHSA then used the photographs to help raise awareness and funds for their efforts. It was an incredible experience and exactly the kind of thing I love to do. Photography is an evocative and emotional art form and I love to see it’s powers at work.
This afternoon I’ll be in another neighborhood photographing folks who have recently been placed in housing. (yaaay!) More on that later.
