Jamie and Mark are one of my favorite couples. We photographed their engagement shoot, but were booked for their wedding in the Dominican Republic (boo!). I am so very excited not only for them and their baby on the way, but also for their baby. She’ll have parents who are relaxed, confident, in love, generous, kind, smart, hard working, and gorgeous. Jamie and Mark will make beautiful parents to this baby girl and I can’t wait to meet her. Good luck, congratulations, LOVE!
Jeanne asked her dad for a pony when she was 6 years old. Like most of us that request was not granted…so fifty some years later she bought one herself. Rockin! I went up to where Rudy, the horse, lives in Kensington, New Hampshire and photographed Jeanne and Rudy….and her newly adopted puppy, Novi. The day was absolutely gorgeous and we had a blast.
Another tough day at the office….thank you. Enjoy. Love.
Salmagundi is, without a doubt, the very best store in this fair city. And lucky me, it’s in my neighborhood: Jamaica Plain. Anyone who has ever stumbled into it will agree, there’s just nothing like it. I have been lucky enough to become friends with Jessen and Andria, the husband and wife/owners extraordinaire. They have invited me to show my work at Jamaica Plain’s First Thursday two different times, and I was thrilled when they asked me to photograph their Fourth Anniversary Party. They invited all of their beloved customers and asked them to ‘look smart’. The smartest dresser won a gift certificate to the store (still unnamed as I write this). The party was rad, everyone looked so super cool…for a moment I forgot I was in Boston. 😉
If you haven’t shopped there yet, get there soon. Orange Line to Green Street. 🙂
It’s an unwritten rule that your child WILL have an ear infection that you don’t yet know about during their first photo shoot. Once you know this you can prepare for it, preemtively go to the doctor and have it all cleared up for the rescheduled shoot. 🙂
This was, of course, the case with five-month-old Natalie. She was a trooper, though, and her mom and dad *exhausted* themselves trying to amuse her. The trick that proved successful? Getting naked outside! What else!?
Enjoy. Thank you. Love.
Not ONLY did I get to photograph Kate and Chris’ wedding and their engagement shoot, but I get to photograph their growing family!! AAAND I actually got to grow up with Kate as an added bonus. Mason, their 8 month old son, is so cute I just stared at this poor kid. I don’t think I’ve even had dolls as cute as he is. We went to Duxbury on a gorgeous October day. Everything was adorable and perfect.
Enjoy. Thank you. Love.
Jake is a lucky kid. He lives on a farm with all of his favorite people: his mama, his dog, and his horses. Grandma is there, too. I chased him around, he fed his horses, played in some dirt, and reminded his favorite ladies how much he loves them. It was as sweet as it gets.
Thank you. Enjoy. Love.
