Hi guys!! In 2008 a photography Love Storm swept the nation. It was called Giving
is Awesome and it made, from what I can tell, many families extremely
happy.
Though it started out as a formal movement, it has evolved to photographers taking their own initiative to give.
Here’s how you can get involved:
Write
me an email telling me about a family that you feel could really use a
free family portrait for the holidays this year. Maybe they’ve been hit
by the economic shit storm, maybe they’ve had a shit storm of their
own. Whatever the case: they can’t afford it, they would love it, it
just might brighten up their day a little.
Here’s what YOU get for nominating them:
A free portrait session with T.Spoon Photography.
Here’s what THEY get: A portrait session and the final jpegs from the shoot.
So,
get writing and let me know. I’ll make the choice my December 24th and
will send you an email. You can decide how to tell the lucky winners!
My personal email is: taramorris@gmail.com
**pleeeease spread the word about this! The family who needs this most just may be a few degrees of separation from you!****
THANK YOU!!
Love me a family who totally gets it on the photography front. It was rainy and cold when I showed up to the Pape home and instead of canceling, they thought of tree decorating and pancake making siting the fact that they much preferred candid photographs rather than posed ones in the rain. It was like they were flirting with me, honestly. 😉 And that’s just what we did… tree decorating, pancake flippin, chicken feedin’ Sunday morning love. Ain’t Life Sweet.
Thank you, love, enjoy.
Stop it. Just stop it right now with these children. Jaw dropping. They are the most kind, gentle, agreeable, adorable, sweet kids I have worked with in a lonnnnng time. My few moments with them filled my heart, I drove away saying aloud, ‘are you f*cking serious?’… That’s a good sign. 🙂
Enjoy, thank you, love.
woot woot, there’s a new person in the world! And a little love snuggle love bug at that. Leop came into the world in early November and his mom and pop could not be more in love. They live in Duxbury, but really they’ve been rocketed to the moon with their love. AIn’t love grand? Life is good. I’m so happy for this new, adorable, gorgeous, blue eyed beauty family.
Good luck, guys. Love. Thank you. xoxo
Six years in a ROW I’ve been with this incredibly special, giggly, light, playful, hilarious, beautiful family. Every year, the weekend before Thanksgiving, I head out to Osh Kosh, Wisconsin to visit my oldest and best friend, Kristen. It’s really no coincidence that Kristen is the matriarch of truly one of the best families I know. She is endlessly and reliably kind and gentle, soft and thoughtful, funny and goofy, understanding and playful. Her children truly adore her and her home is absolutely bursting with a childish lightness and everyone loves being there. She married, simply, the best guy ever. Mark is also hilarious and goofy, kind and thoughtful, but also an incredible provider, a steady rock, a gentle soul. I couldn’t have imagined a better guy for my girl.
Their children are Drew, Beau, and Maeve. If you have a second, I’d love for you to see my first shoot with them just so you can see how they’ve grown. Our first year is HERE. You’ll absolutely fall in love with all three of them for one reason or another. I hope watching them grow up in photos will make you smile. I hope you either have or will have a family so incredibly special as this one. I’m certain you will if that’s what you want.
Thank you, Kris. 36 years and counting? Well, aren’t we somethin’ else. 😉 I love you. A huge thank you to both you and Mark for treating me like family. It means the world. love.
