Yay! I was so stoked to arrive at Daphne’s house to see that she had teenagers! I so rarely get to photograph folks this age, and I ALWAYS want to! It’s such a great age with so many changes and I just love being able to chill and get to know these babes. This house full of powerful, smart, beautiful, kind, creative, cool chicks was a pleasure to be in. We ended up on their roof deck and I left feeling like my feet weren’t even on the ground. My heart was full. Here’s what I saw.
Eeeee!! Great things happen to great people alert!!! I met Paula and Chris when they walked up the stairs to my apartment in Cambridge in 2008 looking for a wedding photographer. And it’s safe to say that I’ve loved them dearly ever since. Paula is hilarious and brilliant and funny and gorgeous and real and generous. Chris, no doubt, has the very same traits. It’s no wonder then that they have a suuuuuper sweet, muffinny, yummy, delicious daughter who is so sweet and so cute I can hardly stand it. We went to the Arnold Arboretum on a really gorgeous day in November and basically chased Lila around the park. It was a perfect hour and everything was right. I wouldn’t wish this happiness on anyone cooler. Ya, Life. Nice work!
Josh and Lindsey will go down as one of my all time favorite couples to work with. I was lucky enough to photograph their wedding on Martha’s Vineyard (which got published in Martha’s Vineyard Weddings magazine which is always fun and cool), then I was able to go over to their beautiful new home and photograph them when they were expecting their first baby. Recently I was really REALLY lucky and got to photograph Lindsey and Josh in their first couple days as parents to the perfect and very lucky, Vivian. This post is both their maternity shoot and Vivian’s first photo shoot.
I love this family. They make everyone they love feel like family. There’s not a better gift to give the world. Good luck, guys. I love you very much. THANK YOU!!
