YAY LIFE!! hahahahaa. Count this one as A MAJOR VICTORY for humanity, grace, and love! Fuck ya. So, just in case you don’t want to go back and read an old blog post, I’m going to post a few photos of Joanna and Isaac from 13 months ago. That little nugget was three months early (rude), and gave his parents and everyone who loved him quite a scare. Well, fear not because Isaac is currently weighing in at ‘wicked chubby’ and his health-o-meter reads ‘not even allergic to nuts I’m so healthy’. Isaac is such a fan of being photographed (apples and trees, joanna) and is sooooo insanely cute and loves his pops and his pup and his mama SO much. Aww man, it was so good to see my friends with their healthy baby. I’m so happy I can’t even stand it. I straight LOL’d (i’ve never written that in my life) this whole edit. I think I’m in love.
Thank you guys SO MUCH for letting me photograph your entire lives. Can you imagine the honor!? holy shit. I love you.
Elizabeth and Matt are one of my all time favorite couples from Hitched Studios. So, when they asked me to travel to the Big Apple to photograph them with their gorgeous new daughter, Madeline, I was on the next train. There they were, my clients turned friends, doing so well working their way through this absolutely unknown territory of new parents! HOLY SHIT!! That’s what I always think when I leave a first baby newborn shoot. Like, where is the owners manual on this thing? Not like you’d have time to read it, but it would be nice as a reference, ya know? Ya, Madeline is like BEYOND gorgeous.. obviously, and Elizabeth and Matt are doing a really awesome job as brand new parents. It was a beautiful way to spend a day, and I love this family so very much. Thank you guys SO MUCH for allowing me to photograph your one beautiful and precious life. It means so so so much to me that you trust me like this. I love you guys. Thank you. GOOD LUCK!!
awwww yeeeeaaa…. love me a house full o’ boys, I do! I am the lucky girl who gets to work with James as he is a wedding coordinator for the catering company that does weddings at The Boston Public Library. We’ve built a great friendship over the years, and when he asked me to photograph him, his husband, and their son, Harry, I was STOKED!! I spent a couple hours with this crew on a Sunday morning, and I loved every. second. Can we talk about Harry’s bedroom, please? It’s a Peter Pan inspired room, and I almost actually bit my fist off when I saw it. It’s perfect. Obviously. James made it, afterall. Harry and his buddy had a cool little morning, and then we ventured out into the south end. Their dogs are cute, they’re gorgeous and loving and fun and chill, and Harry is the luckiest kid in the world. I sure do love seeing all the ways a family is made, and how much beauty true love can make. James and Kevin, it was such an honor to come into your home and photograph your lives. Thank you so much for trusting me to do so. I love you guys. Thank you.
Woop woop woop! Family crush alert BIG TIME! Christian and I met when we were like 5 years old or something. I don’t remember. Which is to say, I don’t even remember life before I was friends with Christian Enwright. We’ve always tried to make each other laugh or shared a side comment or just shared a good giggle. He won the absolute life lottery when he met Meghan in college, and I tell him that literally every single time I see the kid. And he already knows so I’m sure that’s real annoying. Meghan is an actual human gem: shiny, beautiful, rare, unique, and absolutely lovely and wonderful. To know her is to love her. period. Their kids are AWESOME and I love them more every time I see ’em. We ran around Fieldston Beach in Marshfield right before a major storm. The light was gorgeous and the beach was empty, and we had SUCH a great time. I smiled all the way home in my car. They filled my heart right up. Thank you guys SO MUCH for trusting me to document your family! You cannot image the honor it is for me. I take it to heart and I’m so deeply grateful. Thank you. I love you all. I’ll see you soon… fancy style. 😉 love.
So, if you’ve followed my blog for a bit (ummm..THANK YOU!!!!) you may remember little Anna from some years ago. Even if not, check her out from about five years ago HERE. And since that shoot there has been ANOTHER doll-level cute baby girl. This family is TO DIE FOR!! Truly as sweet as they are cute. It’s like soul food to chase them around and make them giggle. Gah. It’s so super sweet. I love them. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
YAY! Carly is pregnant with the LOVE OF HER LIFE’S baby!!! I’ve known Carly for five years now and never have I met a woman more in love with her man than she is with James. For real. We missed their wedding as we were previously booked so I was STOKED when she asked me to photograph their maternity shoot! Carly is GLOWING like the goddess she is, and Baby Joe is already madly loved!! James is a gem and deserves every ounce of love he receives (and gives) to Carly. I’m SO INSANELY happy for this couple! Love love love LOVE to you guys! I’m so happy!!! YAAAY!!
Woop Woop. Some families got it all, ya know? The Otts are one of those families. Gorgeous, smart, successful, kind, and loving. As far as I can tell, they learned it all from the Morris family. ;). Baby Alexander was only 9 days old during our shoot, and Sophia was a great big sister. Mom and Dad just glow. A photographer’s dream, me thinks. Thank you guys SO MUCH for having me come over. It really means the world to me.
Families come in ALL shapes and sizes, and anyone who has ever loved a pet knows this one for sure. Marty is the coolest cat on the planet, and she’s a great friend and companion to Randi. If you’ve ever met a cool cat, you know they’re VERY cool. As in: the have perfected not giving a single fuck about anything. It’s really a wonderful creature and reminder to have in life, and Randi considers herself very lucky to have Marty in her life. Here they are, chillin and bein’ friends. I loved this shoot. I love this crew. Thank you, Randi, for inviting me into your home to photograph you guys. Serious love here. Thank you.
Kristin and Jamie made Baby Wynne, and honestly? We’re all lucky for that. Kristin and Jamie are THE COOLEST, most fun, nicest, most welcoming, absolutely lovely in every. single. way. couple, and Wynne is the luckiest baby in the land. Wynne was about a week old during this shoot, and I just stepped back and watched my friends who were brand new parents figuring it out, do their thing. It was a total honor. I love you guys SO MUCH!! Thank you so much for letting me come over. Love!
Yay! I was the VERY lucky kid who was asked to photograph this family during Boston’s horrible winter! I love Sarah very much… I have been photographing her group of friends and their beautiful lives for years now, and I love them all like sisters. Georgia is so cute she’s at the ‘looks like a doll’ status. Which is really no surprise since Sarah and Ryan made her. This is a super sweet, totally real, absolutely gorgeous family, and I loved this shoot. Cuteness alert. Thank you guys SO MUCH for asking me to come over and document you guys. It means so much, and I’m really grateful. THANK YOU!
