Sooo…. I lucked out.   Hillary knocked on my door maybe 7 years ago now looking for a wedding photographer, and the rest is history.  We photographed her and Ryan’s wedding, a picture from that wedding was our Boston Magazine ad for years (and is over my right shoulder as I type this), then she went on to by a hair and skin salon called Inde in Quincy and I’ve photographed for her website since, then they had Hendrix, then they opened another salon called Lola in Dorchester and I photograph there. And so on!  I am *absolutely* the luckiest family photographer in all the lands every place to have Hillary Deshler as a client, and at this point we’re more like family. If I continue to explain how much I love, admire, and appreciate her I’ll end up bawling and I have a wedding to shoot so I have to wrap it up.  Don’t be mad that she’s wicked pretty and this shoot is fucking gorgeous.  We had the best light of the year and she can’t help that she’s pretty on the outside.  Lame as I sound, she’s like 40 times more beautiful inside.  Lame, I know.  Hate me.

Hillary, thank you so so so much.  I love you with all the little fibers in my body. F’real.

Matt Fitzgerald might be the nicest dude who’s ever graced the halls of Marshfield High.  That might also be an exaggeration, but not by much.   And it’s no wonder that he married a super cool, very low key, incredibly nice woman named Maureen.  And it’s FURTHER not a mystery that they made rad kids, have incredible careers, and now have a second home in Marshfield where Matt and I grew up.   When great things happen for great people it feels good and right and deserved.  I met this little crew on a summer Friday in June and we chased two cute kids around the beautiful stretch of beach they now call (summer) home.  I’m so very happy for this crew.  ENJOY! THANK YOU! LOVE!

Welp, sometimes you roll the genetic dice and ya win. And in this case, Steph and Owen’s brand new, tags still on, son Owen won that dice roll.   Baby Smalls Owen got Irish dad’s blue eyes and mom’s Puerto Rican skin.  Let’s just hope his dancing skills come from his Latin blood, and he’ll be allll set in Lady Killer Lane.   Steph works at Inde Salon in Quincy, and I’m like the whole salon’s official life photographer.  So, I was pretty damn stoked when Steph and Owen called me when Mr Tan Skin Blue Eyes entered the world.  It was like the easiest job I’ve ever had, ever.  You’ll see why.  Steph and Owen are already wonderful parents and Baby Owen will be a well loved, confident, talented, kind boy and then man.  And for that we are all grateful.  Good luck, you guys.  I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU!!  Know this for sure and forever. 🙂

Holy shit, talk about parenting goals.  Gina and Trevor are such good parents I actually might hang on to wedding photography just so I can photograph these two kiddos’ wedding.   Gina is a devoted and mother of TIRELESS love, kindness, and support.   Apparently this is how Lily and Graham became such kind and polite, adorable and fun kids.  I love this family.  I get to photograph them every other year in their hometown of Cohasset.  And let’s face it, ya have to be super super talented to be able to get a decent shot in that town (bug eyed emoji).  Have fun smiling along with a great family at the beach at sunset in September.  They make me have faith in the world, in the future, and in family.  Priceless.

I have the giggles just thinking that I’m about to post this shoot.  There isn’t a person reading these words who is not about to fall in LOVE with one – probably all seven – of these people.  I photographed Erin and Devin’s wedding 9 years ago, and as fate would so kindly have it we are in each other’s world again on the weekly.  Erin is loved by everyone who knows her, she’s humble and kind, beautiful and smart, honest and genuine.  I really feel lucky to call her a friend.  She and Devin are raising the nicest, cutest, funniest, sporty-est (not a word) kids you could imagine.  Every one of these kids were kind, cooperative, and polite to me.  In other words I chased them around their beautiful home and they did everything I said.  This family makes me want to be a mom.  I guess there’s not a bigger compliment I could give.

Enjoy the Condron crew.  Introducing to the T.Spoon Blog:  Erin, Devin, Riley, Finn, Brennan, Hayden, and Emerson.  CondronSML001.jpg

Well, well, well, didn’t I get lucky.  Ashley and Kennedy have beauty for days, several changes of costume, a Duxbury beach sticker, perfect light, lots of love,  and a bottle of red wine made by Dave Matthews.  All I had to do was bring my camera, and since I remembered that here’s what we did.  Ashley and Kennedy are the yummiest mom and daughter duo ever in life.  We had too much fun to call it work and I can’t wait to see them again!  ENJOY!  THANK YOU!  LOVE!!

I hate that this expression is totally overused but it fits here:

I can’t.
I cannot HANDLE how gorgeous these children are.  Jaw droppingly adorable, cute, beautiful, hilarious, sweet, charming, giggly, funny, fun.   I’m in love.   Mark and Lisa are the gorgeous parents who made these two truly sweethearts and I’m really happy they did.  Hanover High School better get ready:  they have like 8 years to prepare for these two and the place’ll never be the same.
I chased the crew around their backyard on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon in August.  I love this family so much I could fall over, but instead I’ll stay upright and post so you can fall in love yourself.  Enjoy. Thank you! LOVE!

Well, well, well, if I don’t have truly *the best* clients of all time of any photographer anywhere at anytime of all time.

Biased?  Not a chance.
Laura and Peter Drummey have three boys:  Stephen, Nolan, and Drew.  These three little nuggets of love get cuter every SECOND, never mind every year.  I photograph them every year these days (thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!) which is something no one will ever, ever regret!  It’s such an incredible honor to watch and document this family grow I can’t even stand it.  Lu, the mom, is maaaaaybe my favorite person ever (along with her whole crew of friends) so I get pretty excited to see her and her boys every year.  I would LOVE for you to see an earlier shoot with this family just so you can enjoy watching them grow big and strong.  HERE is a shoot from when the twins turned one.  And here we are this year on the beach in Hull.  THANK YOU, Drummey family for your friendship that feels like family.  I count myself incredibly lucky to call you friends.  THANK YOU!

Elliot is the newest hipster in Allston.  And the cutest.  Elliot was born into a smart, literary, beautiful, loving family in a cool loft apartment.  There’s literally nothing I don’t already love about this kid.  Enjoy what he looked like when he wasn’t even a week old.  Just a wee boy.  What a miracle.  Thank you guys!  Sending you endless love!
