Two great big people made a great small person!!!! HOOORAY!!!! Is that shit a miracle, or WHAT!?!? I met Dana, the mama, on the train back from NYC to Boston about 5 or 6 years ago. It was one of those random things where we sat next to each other and just totally hit it off like old friends. She took my card and said she’d call when she had a baby. AND SHE DID!! How awesome is that!? This is Dana and Greg, their beautiful new son, Noah, and their gorgeous and sweeeeeeeet pup, Lulu. I really, really love this family. Kind, generous, fun, smart, and beautiful. It’s a humbling honor to document their lives. THANK YOU!!! Enjoy! GOOD LUCK!!! LOVE!!!
Welp, sometimes you roll the genetic dice and ya win. And in this case, Steph and Owen’s brand new, tags still on, son Owen won that dice roll. Baby Smalls Owen got Irish dad’s blue eyes and mom’s Puerto Rican skin. Let’s just hope his dancing skills come from his Latin blood, and he’ll be allll set in Lady Killer Lane. Steph works at Inde Salon in Quincy, and I’m like the whole salon’s official life photographer. So, I was pretty damn stoked when Steph and Owen called me when Mr Tan Skin Blue Eyes entered the world. It was like the easiest job I’ve ever had, ever. You’ll see why. Steph and Owen are already wonderful parents and Baby Owen will be a well loved, confident, talented, kind boy and then man. And for that we are all grateful. Good luck, you guys. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU!! Know this for sure and forever. 🙂
Elliot is the newest hipster in Allston. And the cutest. Elliot was born into a smart, literary, beautiful, loving family in a cool loft apartment. There’s literally nothing I don’t already love about this kid. Enjoy what he looked like when he wasn’t even a week old. Just a wee boy. What a miracle. Thank you guys! Sending you endless love!
As if life wasn’t already super awesome just because Josh and Lindsey are in it, they go and make a couple ah kids. They brought miss Vivian through a couple years ago, and on their fifth wedding anniversary I met their son, Dez, on his one-week birthday. There are few people in the world I’m more honored to know, to photograph, and to call friends than Josh and Lindsey. One day, in another life, I’ll come back and be just like them. For now, I get to see them twice a year for photography. In case you feel like making yourself happy, may I suggest that you go through the last five years of their lives. :): here is their wedding on Martha’s Vineyard, here is their maternity and newborn shoot of Vivian in their gorgeous home in South Boston, here is when Vivian turned one and we thought she was a play doll, and here is when I started actually being mad that Viv is better dressed than me. 😉 And our latest collaboration is right here… ENJOY! LOVE! THANK YOU!
Man, I wish I wasn’t so effusive so that when I really needed to be you’d believe me! Kristin, Jamie are two of the best people I know, and to say that I’m in love with their daughter, Winnie, would be a huge understatement. Tommy was three weeks old when I arrived, but I have no doubt I’ll be madly in love with him, too. But, at this time in life, Winnie just reached in and stole my heart. She’s as sweet and welcoming and easy going and hilarious and smart as her parents. She’s SUPER sweet and helpful and kind. Her entire family is really special so it’s no wonder why she’s as special. I really hope you fall in love with her through these photographs. Baby Tommy will have a wonderful life, and I wouldn’t wish it on a better couple than Kristin and Jamie. Congratulations to all of you! I LOVE YOU!!!
YAY!! BABY BOY!!! We photographed Ali and Tim’s wedding in 2009 when their wedding photographer backed out last minute, and we’ve gone on to photograph their entire group of friends and their weddings. So, when Ali called me last month to let me know their son, Carter, had arrived I fell over myself to get over there. And OF COURSE Carter is not only super adorable (like his parents) but also insanely well behaved and chill (also like their parents). My only hope now is that he’s phenomenal at the robot on the dance floor. That’ll be all thanks to mom! CONGRATULATIONS to both of you!! Carter is incredibly lucky to have you both as parents. I will see you again soon! Sending you LOVE!
Yay, life! I have been lucky enough to photograph Haley and Rich’s proposal, engagement shoot, wedding, professional head shots, and now their first baby!! I absolutely love being able to document their lives like this, never mind to keep in touch, catch up, and see how it’s going. And how it’s going these days is REAL good! Madeline is a DREAM baby! She’s sweet and beautiful and loves her mama! I LOVE watching mamas and babies (and dad’s too!) fall so madly in love with each other! Life is so rich. Thank you so much!! Enjoy!!
Really good feeling for a family photographer? To go into a client’s home and see their entire lives photographed and framed around their home. That would be a great feeling no matter what, but the fact that those are the photographs we made together is such a sweet feeling. Shannon and Aldo make me feel like family when I’m at their house (or their vacation house or their family’s weddings, etc etc). I have photographed this family now for 7 years and it’s truly an honor to be asked to be a part of their lives like this. Thank you both so much! I love you all!!
Man, it is soooo special to be invited into people’s homes when they’re just bringing home their child. I can literally feel the emotion in the room and I can see that new parents are utterly crushed with love. I love that. And watching Jimmy, who is a very cool headed doctor/entrepreneur fall madly in love with his daughter every second absolutely broke my heart wide open. Anna’s awesome mom was in from North Carolina to help out, and when she started singing old Puerto Rican (where they’re from) lullabies to Mari, there was not a dry eye in the house. Welcome to the world, Mari. You are crushed with love.
Elizabeth and Matt are one of my all time favorite couples from Hitched Studios. So, when they asked me to travel to the Big Apple to photograph them with their gorgeous new daughter, Madeline, I was on the next train. There they were, my clients turned friends, doing so well working their way through this absolutely unknown territory of new parents! HOLY SHIT!! That’s what I always think when I leave a first baby newborn shoot. Like, where is the owners manual on this thing? Not like you’d have time to read it, but it would be nice as a reference, ya know? Ya, Madeline is like BEYOND gorgeous.. obviously, and Elizabeth and Matt are doing a really awesome job as brand new parents. It was a beautiful way to spend a day, and I love this family so very much. Thank you guys SO MUCH for allowing me to photograph your one beautiful and precious life. It means so so so much to me that you trust me like this. I love you guys. Thank you. GOOD LUCK!!
