Durham, New Hampshire just got cuter. Hannah arrived…. twelve days late, thank you very much to her condo/feeder/life life/mama Stephanie. Yes, she tried every technique imaginable to go into labor, but Hannah wanted to share a birthday with me (obviously) so she waited until May 25th. I whispered to her that I would have loved her anyway, but I DO think it’s super cool that we now share a birthday.
Stephanie, Jesse, and Hannah. The sweetest, newest family in Durham. Awesome sauce.
Lauren and Chris are, by far, some of my favorite friends that I’ve met because I shot their wedding. I admittedly had a couple crush on them from the moment they arrived on the scene at their engagement shoot and it’s been an up hill love affair since. So…when Chris told me that they were pregnant I was in love with their baby already.
I arrived at their new home in Milton, baby Luke snuggled in Chris’ arms and Lauren GLOWING, prettier than ever and happier than I’ve ever seen her, and I was so honored to be able to photograph their new family. Luke is perfect. Lauren and Chris are madly in love. With him, with each other. I couldn’t be happier for all three of them.
Ben and I photographed Liz and Todd’s wedding in March 2009 and we were
all instant friends. In fact, Liz and Todd are prrrrrrrobably two of my favorite people ever. So when they told me they were expecting a little girl this summer, I was already in love. I already knew she’d be gorgeous, smart, kind, and full of love…. I just didn’t know how hilarious and athletic she’d be at three days old.
This is not a typical newborn shoot, but it is a typical T.Spoon shoot: real families acting with lots of love and honesty. Messy, funny, lovely, perfect.
Liz and Todd, good luck. ;). Looks like you’re in for the ride of your lives. I love you both very much. Thank you so much for letting me document your beautiful lives.
love. love. love.
A photo from their wedding day:
I’m super excited to show you my two new sample albums.
Both are leather bound and 10×10 and really gorgeous.
When open, the books will lay almost two feet across your lap.
I can’t think of a better way to showcase and preserve your family’s photography;
An investment and a gift that will last a lifetime.
Look who finally made it! All of two weeks late, here’s new and perfect Sophie. She wanted to make sure everyone was ready. Especially her big brother who happens to be a boxer, Tyson.
She’s here. She’s precious. We’re grateful.
There was one spot of light in the middle of Sophie’s new room. And who more deserving of a spotlight?
Add this to the list of miracles: Baby Sam! I photographed Maureen last month when she was perfectly pregnant. It was so wonderful to return a month later and to meet Sam.
Here is one photograph from her maternity shoot and a few from Sam’s debut.
Amy has been one of my favorite humans for over 25 years. How have I done anything for 25 years, by the way?
Anyone who knows Amy loves her and I know I can speak for her legions of fans and friends and family that we…are….so…happy…. for her and Craig and little Lucy Brown.
Amy, I love you, I love you, I love you. You will be the best mom ever and Lucy is the luckiest girl on the planet. truth.
Baby Cayden might be the sweetest thing that was ever six days new.
And so lucky to have B and S as mom and dad! Brian and Steph are
luminescent so it’s no wonder Cayden is as precious as she is. She
was alert and ready to rock for her first shoot. And puppy Timothy was
proving to be a killer older brother.
Congratulations you guys. Tons of love. thank you. enjoy.
