I hate that this expression is totally overused but it fits here:

I can’t.
I cannot HANDLE how gorgeous these children are.  Jaw droppingly adorable, cute, beautiful, hilarious, sweet, charming, giggly, funny, fun.   I’m in love.   Mark and Lisa are the gorgeous parents who made these two truly sweethearts and I’m really happy they did.  Hanover High School better get ready:  they have like 8 years to prepare for these two and the place’ll never be the same.
I chased the crew around their backyard on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon in August.  I love this family so much I could fall over, but instead I’ll stay upright and post so you can fall in love yourself.  Enjoy. Thank you! LOVE!

Hi good people!

Suuuuper stoked to be teaching alongside some
serious supah stahhs for Life Book 2018: a year long art course you do online with a host of super talented teachers!  No pressure, no critiques, nothing to worry about but being creative, happy, out of yer head, and doing fun things that make you feel FREE!!

And even MORE exciting news is that I can give away 1 space on this amazing year long art
course! Keep reading to find out more about Life Book 2018

FIRST, What the f*$k is Life Book!?

“Life Book, a celebration and honouring of YOU” is a year-long mixed media art class
organized by Tamara Laporte from Willowing Arts (super SUPER star alert! Check out her insane talent!!).
Tam is joined by 23 incredible art teachers who are all gearing up to share their mixed media
techniques, tips and tricks with YOU! PLUS this year, Life Book is going to be bigger and better
by including another 12 fantastic artists and wellness guides who will focus on additional
personal development practices and other art modalities, like sculpting, photography (that’s me!) & writing!
Themed around self-development and healing, you’ll be creating several loose mixed media art
journal pages per month which by the end of the year you will bind into a glorious journal (a Life
Book)! You will have a wonderful keepsake that you can treasure for the rest of your life! You will
also be introduced to yoga (worrrd, that’s me again!), aromatherapy, dance and angel energy and other wellness exercises to help support your personal development journey more holistically and imagine the fun we will have getting introduced to and acquainted with some of the other wonderful art forms out there!
You can find out a lot more about this wildly popular course (it has been joined by over 16500+
people in the past!) by clicking HERE
I’m still putting the juiciness into my class, but you can expect some serious love fest vibes as we learn more about what it means to really SEE and celebrate the people in our lives who we LOVE!!  Life don’t last forever, and it’s so easy to make someone feel lifted and beautiful and important with just a few really good pointers.  The class won’t be technical whatsoever so cell phone cameras will be perfect!  I think it’s going to be a perfect addition to the year long course, and you’ll be able to use your skills alongside your giant heart for ever and ever. Amen. πŸ™‚

Registration opens on September 12th 2017 and the class begins on January 1st 2018.
So if you want to start the year with a fabulous creative BANG and spend 2018 with a wonderful
creative community of like-minded souls, learning more about art and how to be kinder and more
loving towards yourself, be sure to join once registration opens! πŸ™‚ Keep this page  bookmarked so that you can sign up the moment it goes on sale! πŸ™‚

Maybe you’ve heard that I have started a new project…not to replace, but to *add to* T.Spoon Photography, high school senior portraits, and commercial photography.  It’s called The Love Offensive and it’s a lifelong project in the making combining photography, yoga, and world travel.  Our basic ethos is to empower the body and free the mind so we can truly see and celebrate each other all over the world.  I hope that sounds as awesome to you as it does to me!

I just held The Love Offensive for Girls at my house last weekend, and it was truly a blast!  I had eleven 11-year-olds over for a day to teach them yoga and photography. What we really talked about was stilling the mind, trusting yourself, listening to each other, and making each other feel seen, beautiful, and special.  It was a really good day, and the girls left exhausted and feeling excited about their new skills behind the lens and on the mat.

I’ll be holding The Love Offensive for Girls all over the area (and beyond) and I’d love to work with your daughter/school/girl scout troop/running club (you get the idea :)).  I have all sorts of dates on the calendar with different groups of girls, and I’m super stoked!  If you’d like to sign your daughter up for the next open day-long Love Offensive, please sign up on the website: www.theloveoffensive.com/girls
Thank you so much for your endless support as I try to live my life as a supportive, love giving, mood boosting girl myself.  Everything you have ever done for me is greatly appreciated and utterly humbling.  Thank you.

Before you read on, please take a minute and read Lizzy’s birth story here.  Her life and health are miracles, and she is an angel to Marilyn, her mama, and all her aunties!  Marilyn’s sisters were in town for the weekend and we all met up in the arboretum during peak foliage.  They danced and sung to little Lizzy until she got her groove and started bouncin’!  She is utterly adorable and I’m so so so glad our paths have crossed! YAY Lizzy!!

I’m not sure why I’ve chosen the following photographs as ‘best’.  I don’t know if they’re the very best photographs or if I just absolutely love these people.  Maybe I cried when I watched their slide show or when I got in the car after the shoot.  I had an incredible year.  I was in California, Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin twice.  And of course, my Massachusetts family has continued to blow me away with your support and love.  Thank you, EVERYONE.  You’re the very best families in the whole. wide. world.

Enjoy. I hope to see new and familiar faces this year.  Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me for a shoot.  You’ll never, ever regret it.
Thank you so much.  I love you so very much.  t.

I was lucky enough to photograph Jess and Ben’s wedding in 2009.  Their wedding has been our sample album for many years so a lot of couples might feel like they know these two beauties.  Well, since then they have moved to Newton and had BEYOND GORGEOUS Mina!!  I am THE luckiest kid in the world to know these people and call them friends.  Thank you thank you THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Many years ago I first heard of Squam Art Workshops from my best friend Kate who had found it through a blog called Soule Mama.  She talked about it like it was this colorful, creative, positive, woodsy, fun dream.  One day, she thought, she’d love to get there.

A few years later, another bestie, Flora Bowley, was asked to teach at Squam.  Flora stayed with me when she returned from the workshop and was legitimately love drunk about it.  In fact, her life has been dramatically different from that initial time at Squam, and she realizes that at least part of her professional turning point happened there.
So, you can imagine how humbling, terrifying, exciting, and holy shitting it was to be asked to teach there myself last year.  Elizabeth Duvier started Squam Art Workshops after attending another gathering of creative like-minds out in Washington State.  Understandably,  she must have had a true What The Fahk moment when she realized there was nothing like that on the East Coast.  I’ve never asked Elizabeth for her business card, but the only thing it should say is ‘Elizabeth Duvier: Manifester.”  This woman gets. shit. DONE.  Most of the inspiration from both of my times there has been over the fact that this woman dreamed this thing up, and now it’s sold out every year by this tribe of smart, creative, fun, funny, smart, cool, talented women.  THOUGH it’s not just for women.. and any smart man would attend.  πŸ™‚
So, Squam….. it’s on the grounds of some sort of Dirty Dancing camp in the deep New Hampshire woods at a family camp called Rockyworld Deephaven in Holderness, NH.  The cabins are serviced by ice boys and log boys (gulp) who literally fill the ice chest with new frozen ice from the lake, and restock your firewood EVERY DAY.  If that wasn’t enough, every single cabin has a private dock on Squam Lake and all the screen doors creek and slam.  And did you like Alvin and The Chipmunks growing up?  How about Chip n’ Dale?  Of course you did, you’re a human being with a heart.  Well, they live there.  And so do all their friends.  It’s literally the cutest thing on the planet and I wish I lived in a village of only chipmunks.
So, going to Squam, whether teaching or attending, is four days of this dreamy, woodsy, fun, funny, creative, INSPIRING AS HELL, rejuvenating, relaxing, exciting, hilarious, giggly time.  Like anything, you get from it exactly what you need.  Elizabeth makes a point to remind everyone that you actually don’t have to do a damn thing.  You can sit on your dock and do nothing all week, or you can attend the classes you signed up for.  It’s YOUR week, and she trusts that if you got there, you will leave a different person.  Defined by you, designed for your own life. For your own personal evolution, frankly.
If this sounds even kinda nice, why don’t you head over to her website and sign up for the newsletter, or keep track of the hashtag #squamartworkshops  Start putting it out to your friends… or not… and just start the journey. I can literally feel myself start a new chapter in life every time I return.  You will return home more alive, more inspired, more determined, and more full.  Never mind you’ll have ten new friends all over the country and be reminded how truly. fucking. awesome. you. are.
Here are some photos I took of my classes learning how to see people like the shiny, gorgeous, stars that they are.  Photography as a tool to spread love.  Who knew.
Life don’t last forever, ya know.  Love more. Fear less.  Go sign up.  πŸ™‚

Yessss!!!   How fun is it to see a gorgeous, fun, generous family every other year and each time I visit there’s (literally) another adoooorrrable child.  Answer: It’s wicked fun. Please take five seconds and see their FIRST shoot and their SECOND shoot.  So, the Kroeker family has moved to Mill Valley.  Right next to a little baseball player ya might have heard of, Barry Bonds.  Because I’m an American woman I am in good company when I’m impressed by pure scandal and celebrity so I’m totally impressed with their new neighborhood. πŸ™‚ OK, so since I’ve been to visit, baby John has arrived.  John is the most adored, adorable, free spirit on planet California, and I’m in the fan club big time.  William is the third kid, and is soooo funny.  He literally will not smile normally at the camera.  Like refuses, but in this wicked funny, manipulative, quiet way.  He pretends, very quietly, that he’s not quite sure HOW to smile.  It’s so obvious and such a riot.   He’s the cool, low key, funny guy in the crowd. (insert that emoji with hearts for eyes). Heidi is the most beautiful little girl in the world so I mean, no big.  SHe’s suuuuper sweet and quiet and stylish and wicked loving.  Andrew is the oldest, and he’s a gem. Very smart, very talented, very low key, a great big brother, and a great son.   Chi and Karl are the mom and dad, and I absolutely and whole heartedly adore these two.  They love their children and their community.  They’re honest and real and open and SO INSANELY generous to me.  I end up staying for much longer than I planned because we get into these deep conversations about the meaning of life.  And yes, I run around this gorgeous home of theirs and then embrace them and jump up and down and scream, “I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!! LOOK AT YOUR LIFE!!!”  It’s a great friendship, and I’m wicked WICKED lucky to be trusted by this family.  I love you guys.  Please adopt me.
