Another perfect day on a beach in Marshfield. And I SWEAR I asked them not to wear matching clothes! They couldn't resist!! ;)
The Chandlers are an amazing, loving, gorgeous family in Marshfield. They now all have a bunch of Smalls so the love keeps on keepin on. Jocelyn has always been a beautiful and kind human so it's fabulous to see her as a mom. She's so good at it. Just like everything else she's ever done.
At the end of the shoot they let all the kids go into the ocean with their new clothes on. It was such a thrill for everyone. It was surely a great way to end the evening.

And the beach shoots roll on! God bless Marshfield, it's beaches, and all the rad folk who live there! I was the luckiest girl in the world last Friday night as I photographed this gorgeous, fun, loving family on the most gorgeous night of the year.
I photographed Krissy, Nick, and Sophie when Sophie was a newbie HERE so I was super excited when she invited me back to photograph her family, all her siblings and their families, and her parents at her parent's killer place on the beach. It couldn't have been better.

I love photographing families that come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. I especially love families that roll around on dead birds and chew hay.
It was my second time on the farm with Julia and Stephen. Their family has grown and changed since the Fall. Hersey, the fabulous, beloved dog I met last year, passed this Spring. I'm so glad that he has a 20"x30" portrait on their living room walls to immortalize him forever.
Stephen and Winslow took a trot, I met Louie, the new barn kitty, and of course I met Halle, their new rescued Lab. Plenty o' dog for Jackson, the white Lab, to harass and chase.
Here are some of my favorites from this shoot, and pictures of the wall galleries that hang in their home from last year's shoot.

Another multi-famiy shoot during a little family reunion for them! It was such an honor to be able to capture such a kind and loving family as they relaxed, laughed...and shot vodka together! Liza, one of the daughters/now mother of three, has been one of my sister's great friends for 20 something years. I was thrilled to be able to photograph her entire family at her childhood North River home in Marshfield.
I drove away that day thinking about how lucky and healthy and full of love they all are. It's the kindof place I wanted to hang out at all day; Tons of laughter, great food, great people...and cupcakes and vodka.

Amy has been not only a good friend of mine for over 25 years, she's been a good friend to everyone she knows for over 25 years. Amy is strong and smart, loyal and trusting, lovely and in love, a wonderful mother, the best wife ever, a steady and strong daughter and sister. She's truly one of my favorite people ever.
I think her sisters were my first super heroes; cool and beautiful, nice and funny, strong and smart.
Their mom: the gorgeous, ice-blue eyed matriarch of 'em all has been a steady force of strength and love. I know she's enjoying her long tenure as the grandmother of all this love and family. Nice work, Ronny!
